M. Scott Mater, P.E. PresidentMr. Mater has over 25 years of experience in project development and design throughout the United States. He is a registered engineer in Oregon and several other states, and has special expertise in public works as an engineer and as a policy maker. He was City Engineer for Adair Village for seven years. In addition to his engineering expertise, Mr. Mater understands development issues from a decision-maker's viewpoint. He served as a city councilor for the City of Corvallis between 1972-1976 and was chairman of the city's Public Works Committee and its Fire and Utilities Committee. During that period he was also the Council's representative on the Corvallis Watershed Management Committee and Mid-Willamette Valley Pollution Authority. He currently sits on the Governor's Task Force on the Willamette River Basin. He has managed all phases of engineering projects including the system planning, design, and construction.
CADD ServicesMater has the in-house Computer Aided Design and Drafting expertise and equipment to produce professional quality plans for their clients. Software includes AutoCAD Release 14 and Eaglepoint civil design modules. Mater Engineering's design team has the capability to generate full site plan maps, roadway and parking lot improvements, plan and profile sheets, utility detail sheets, lighting and landscaping plans. Mater Engineering maintains a comprehensive library of standard utility details in AudoCAD format including those used by several local municipalities and APWA.
